 Marines, Corpsmen & Auxiliary:

I am writing to inform you that the location of our March monthly business meeting, to be held on, Monday, 17-Mar-2008, will be in an alternate location due to the nature of the meeting.  The meeting will be held at Integrity Community Church (I.C.C.), located in the B.M.O.C., just off of Exit 145 in Burlington, located directly across from the Bridal Mart store.  This is the same Church where we have our Toys for Tots office established.

The Detachment will meet in the Worship Center of I.C.C. and the Auxiliary will meet in the Conference room.  For March’s meeting only, we will start at 7:15pm sharp versus 7:00pm.  The reason for this is there will be a couple of Members at the VFW, until 7:00pm, redirecting any Members or visitors to the I.C.C. location that were not contacted or aware of this location change.

At the meeting, under New Business, we will discuss an opportunity that has been given to us, to consider making I.C.C. our new primary meeting location.  This will be discussed in detail as to how this option has come about and will be offered as a motion to the membership to consider voting on.  In addition, we will still have the benefit of utilizing the VFW as our continued meeting location for events, programs and projects that we already have established there, such as Honor Guard rifle & drill practice, joint fundraisers with the VFW and other advantages due to them being a military organization.

I hope that you share the same enthusiasm as I have for this tentative opportunity.  We are growing as an Organization.  With growth comes change and we have been very blessed to have been given this offer.  Again, we will discuss this, as an Organization, at the March meeting and get collective feedback as to what we want to do.

I look forward to seeing all of you there.
